This SEC thing may be real in the sense that SEC people are asking questions, but it doesn't mean anything in terms of "wrong doing".
There have been MANY speculative words, rumors, etc. but having e-mailed with OWC folks in the past... The guys were always pretty damn silent. They would never even hint at things.
There were people who claimed to know things and were wrong many, many times. Even before the conference we were being told about "several PRs coming via reliable source".
I don't know how an SEC attorney asking questions will amount to anything because at the end of the day, I doubt anybody being questioned was ever told anything "specific" by anybody involved directly with OWC. I heard one person say this may have been about Friedland "recommending people buy OWC" somewhere.
I've watched/heard most any interview Friedland did and I never once heard him RECOMMEND the stock. I heard him disclose he was an early-on investor and that he's bullish... But, big deal. That's a typical disclaimer.
P.S. I think it's incredibly stupid to be posting rumors you feel may be legit on a PUBLIC SITE. You're just asking for trouble if the "rumor" ends up being TRUTH.
