They are dummies. Reagan did the same and that started the huge deficit spending. The idea is that the economy will grow so fast that more tax revenue comes in to the treasury. Problem now is worse, inflation will cause added government expenses and interest on the old debt explodes.

There is no way out, the previous 5 presidents spent out kids and grand kids money. The USA is screwed, and IMO, by design.
