Respectfully, I’m not so sure, about the significance of the possible outcomes. The way i see it, cyberthreats are now so ubiquitous, that no one company can possibly fulfill all the demand, as a practical matter.
All we need our Strikeforce Execs to do, is FIGHT for a decent market share. It’s not even safe for every agency to be using the same security system, due to systemic risk.
We can do very very well with the major contracts underway, regardless the lawsuits, IMHO. That doesn’t mean to relax vigilance about infringers: i think they are being put on notice appropriately. But as you have commented i believe, respectable agencies like the DOD do not want to do business with unethical companies being sued for infringement: we own the patents, and should prevail in getting better and bigger contracts with the momentum going now.
