While your other points are valid, you’re confusing two different CA judges with somewhat similar names.
CA Judge Kozinski has nothing to do with SFOR and is the judge accused of showing pornography to staffers. He stepped down from his position as a 9th circuit judge.

CA Judge Kronstadt is the one who ruled on SFOR’s and SA’s case and is still an active judge. Judge Kronstadt is a district court judge not a 9th circuit judge.
