If you went back in time and reread all the posts leading up to Berman's tweet about QVC, people here were going gaga about how QVC was the perfect selling platform for bSafeMobile. Grandma's buying their grandkids devices to put in their cars, etc.
Except no one here knew the requirements that QVC has in place for vendors. Something that Onci could not possibly have met given their supply chain management and cash flow at the time.
Costco has similar stringent requirements. Products just don't "show up" on shelves because it's a great fit. Companies are required to have back office capabilities such as EDI so (re)orders can be processed seamlessly. Plus bSafeMobile has to be explained on how to use the product. Auto parts stores have the personnel that can be trained to explain. Costco does not.
