I believe that the tools to do such were refined and expanded after 9/11, by the right.

But if you're going on claims from the right now about how that has been happening under liberals, it rings hollow. If we'd gotten hit 9/11 style under Obama the right would be screaming for more rigorous surveillance, and for Obama's impeachment.

Nunes misrepresentations didn't help matters. the FISA warrant was justified on Carter Page and subsequent updates were authorized based upon additional, corroborating evidence.

Well yeah, but there is no honesty in using that as an excuse to do nothing about....gun show loopholes, terrorist watch list loopholes, extended capacity magazines, assault weapons and bump-stock availability, which all need to go.
