That's what I find most interesting: "legal support out of CA". It's the old real estate adage of, location, location, location! That R&G branch office is positioned to take full advantage of Silicon Valley infringers once the appeal against SA is won. It will be a whole series of wash, rinse, repeat with infringing CA based IT companies IMHO.
