I hate snakes and critters. More like mountains for me? My favorite place I have been is the Black hills, S.D.
Lake Sylvan, man made Lake, thanks to Teddy Roosevelt over a mile high, 1/2 miles from the Needles. I loved the rocks, very spiritual for me. I lived in Rapid City from 76 to 78, went back in 2010, felt nostalgia like never before up there. It is not a big lake, in Minnesota it might be called a pond. I did walk under those trapped rocks many times and climbed many of the rocks.
