Every $1M saved in claims could/would fund 5,000 units at $200 per unit. My understanding is that a driver who admits, or is proven by telco records to be using their phone at the time of an accident, is found liable for the accident. I'm not sure what happens if both drivers were "on the phone" at the time of an accident.
I was pitching our products earlier and I got a few questions that I didn't have definitive answers.
1 - Will there be software updates & how & free? I thought directly to the phone the way I get them now.
2 - Is the hardware and software "portable" - i.e. if I buy a "new" car, can I take off of the old car and re-use. I thought yes as long as OBD ports are compatible
3 - Cost to install the hardware?? And, who pays?
