The Senate is only addressing medical marijuana, but it's hard to say how Session's can go after recreational marijuana if the State has legal medical marijuana, and the suppliers are the same for both medical and recreational.

I know here in Los Angeles that the first businesses to get the recreational license are the existing medical stores, but I don't know if every store will be both drug and recreational marijuana. Nor do I know if all growers are growing both.

While I'd like to see Congress clear up the entire matter, I believe the only way they will is if Session's were actually to force the issue by attempting to prosecute someone dealing in recreational marijuana in a State where it's legal.
