The suspended trial showed positive results in everything regarding Kevetrin MOA that company was hoping to see.
Basically, Kevetrin showed IT IS the Holy Grail that can modulate the p53 pathway.
Since p53 is the most widely researched topic in the history of medicine, why aren't these results going to be shouted across the breadth of cancer research?
How could a BP working with IPIX not realize they had better bring this drug into their stable before a competitor gets it?
Sure, they can play hardball with a deal, but they may find out they passed on the biggest thing to come down the pike in regards to cancer for a mere few billions of dollars. I'd hate to have to face a boss and report that I had lost something of this magnitude over pinching a few bucks.
Non-systemic absorption, could that lead to a pill one could take daily like a vitamin to prevent cancer? One can only dream but sure sounds plausible.
