John I am currently interested in a possible terrible drought in California. Reading, in the mid northern part of the state has had well below rain inn there rainy season, beginning in October. October, November and January were combine a bit below normal. But, In December with an average 6" of rainy, Redding had .11. February, so far NONE and none forecast til February 15th. I am wondering if this is being engineered. Look at the High pressure ridge blocking all precipitation from entering the state, been ther all month and rock solid>>>>>

The next think happening is temperatures are running 10 to 20 degrees above average. What this is doing is melting some of the little snow the mountains have had early. Mid last week snow pack was like 14% normal. So, the reservious will really drain the summer.
Next, remember the laser caused fires twice in California last fall. Very dry conditions will cause more fires, probably many more. Add it all up, higher food prices as the drought spreads East, no water, fires, Hello Global Warming measures taken? Who knows, but something is up and do suspect geo engineers is being used.

One of my reasons for this interest I hold RJA, an unleveraged food ETN. It could easily double this year if the drought worsens.
