Just for the record, I didn't ask Alan to stop posting the FINRA #s publicly. I made two suggestions here.
The first one was not to add "XX% of today's volume was short sales" and post the data exactly as in the source file. He said no, of course (no scary visual effect without the added statement, I guess).
The second one was to add another statement explaining shares marked by MMs could be covered in the same day so the short % could be much less than the # suggests. My guess is he'll say no also.
I don't want to be perceived as someone who tried to censor Alan just because I don't agree with him. Thank you for your support!
