Nearly 20 Confidential Disclosure Agreements have been signed by potential partners.
I have read articles about start-ups whose goal is to find a new class of antibiotics. (like Brilacidin, which is way ahead of them)
There are all kinds of articles about drug companies that are looking for drugs to use in combination with their existing drugs. (Remember, if the two are compounded together as one drug or IV or whatever, they get a nice new copyright and the clock is re-set for the new patent.) (Kevetrin, anyone?)
I have read articles to about the side effects of biologics, and how they tend to be worse than non-biologics. (yoo-hoo, Prurisol anyone?)
IPIX has at least 3 different that are ready for partnership deals. Most small biotechs bet the farm on just one.
