NPR's All Thing's Considered just broadcast a segment on the geolacting threat provided by people's smartphones. Yes, the same geolating threat mentioned by Lt. Col. L'Heureaux in the article "Russia has been hacking smartphones of NATO troops". The former special ops troop being interviewed stated the military is planning on doing something about this.
