I think the question of why attend the Wall St. Conf. and do so at such an expensive level can be found right in the name, Wall Street. The conference provides the opportunity to speak with investors, some of which may simply purchase the stock like you and I, but others who potentially can finance the operation for years if necessary.

Are they going specifically to get an equity deal, perhaps, but I believe it's more to know who they can come to when they need such a deal.

OWCP may have many iron's in the fire when it comes to potential partners who could provide all they'd need, but should nothing they have in discussions come to fruition, it's nice to have friends you can speak with to get the necessary support.. I believe this conference provides those sort of opportunities.

As I remember it last year, Cherry and other investors in attendance spent a lot of time with representatives of the company, not just the few minutes that they had in making a formal presentation, I believe it's that sort of access that the company wants with those in attendance.
