The DOD/CIO has the decision making authority. That is why I encouraged the staffers to ask their Senator to call him about this issue. DISA has been looking at potential solutions for well over a year. It's time IMHO for their pick to enter the procurement cycle. The only holdup is for Congress to finally pass the funding authorization bill hopefully 2/8. I wish I was privy to the after action exercise report of the DOD Contractor use of KTLS during the August DC simulated cyber attack.If SFOR IP met their mission requirements it would be in the running for a DOD contract.
