Ford Special Dividend ends 01/29/2018
Ford Motor declared a special dividend of $0.13/share.
A special dividend is nothing new for long-term Ford shareholders. The company has declared special dividends in the previous two years also ($0.25/share in 2016, and $0.05/share in 2017). The special dividend boosts Ford Motor's dividend yield to 6.1 percent. Investors can still capture the full yield as the ex-dividend date is 2018-01-29 (as long as you buy Ford Motor before the ex-dividend date, you will get the dividend). The special dividend will be paid together with the regular 1st quarter dividend on 2018-03-01.
