Note that the Chinese are talking about becoming shareholders, then eventually buying the company.
Not that I think IPIX would partner with them -- I posted that article to show that it's heating up in the partnership arena, when new money comes in.
What if the Chinese partner with some other, better-known companies? This leaves fewer options for companies like Merck and Pfizer and Takeda that have had recent catastrophic failures of what they thought would their flagship drugs. They will have fewer choices for partnerships, and IPIX's drugs seem to be on their radar already.
