In my experience, every year, the time from the January Monday after MLK day, until 9-10 March, is a DOLDRUMS. not a bad time to quietly accumulate for early May - July 4 highs.
the only exceptions seem to be those few sectors with strong annual cyclical trends contrary, and, companies with punctuated catalysts.
