Maybe Steve hasn't provided Mazar's with all the necessary information they have requested from him. Mazar's can't pull numbers from thin air if management doesn't provide them all the requested information.
Personally I would think that if the audited financials are ready now, Berman would release them. Why play cat and mouse with your shareholders and cause them so much anxiety? It wouldn't surprise me in the least bit if the 1/31 deadline is missed. Berman does not have a great track record in meeting his own announced deadlines.
