Quantum dots will be used in multiple products in multiple industries. It is hard for me to think of other materials that were able to replace a previous material that would affect such a wide variety of products. Nylon could be one that has wide usage. I would like to hear other examples.
In the display field, QD will replace organic phosphors. QD will be in SSL, sensors, bio-, solar - of many different kinds of products within those industries. Like the stars in the sky the number is too high to count.
