I would love to see it but I do not think it will end naked shorting of the stock.
Investors need to demand our regulators stop naked shorting as was done in Europe. T+0 will end abusive naked shorting. This has been allowed to go on for years without any punishment but slap on the wrist fines and promises not to do it again. Do not allow any firm doing it to trade for 90 days and send a few folks to jail and it will stop quickly. We all need to make our voices heard.
