So lets say I discount the idea that Hanks is getting rid of these shares to recoup his money prior to a RS on MMEX stock.
(I discount this because they were sold for $0, but to be perfectly fair, just because it was traded for $0 doesn't mean that Hanks didn't get something of value that was non-monetary for the shares; but lets discount for sake of argument)
That brings me back to my thought that this is some kind of housekeeping maybe. Maple Resources (the parent of all Jacks companies) now has 1.5bil Class B 10x voting power shares. I doubt he is worried about any power struggles posed by 300mil shares in other holdings... Maybe he is shuffling the shares to start collapsing Maple Structure since its purpose is served?
Its all guesses at this point, but with the extra info maybe we can brainstorm better.
