Not that you asked for my opinion, but the best play is to bet consistently so that your opponents cant get a read on what you are holding. That said; I have found that in very small blind hold 'em cash games at the casinos people will call many standard pot multiplier bets and 'go fishing' with hands they should not because they have a tolerance for losing at little to see if they get lucky and draw a good hand. So it makes it tougher to win with good hands unless you are willing to bet very strong. This then makes it a long term challenge because if you bet strong every time then you are putting yourself at risk of losing big when your hand is not necessarily great. So I think the best strategy is in these cases is to be a little inconsistent.
