Really? When diabetes is life threatening do not the meds have their place WHILE people are following the weight loss recommendations from their doctors, who have known about the relationship between weight/sugar and diabetes for decades.
Is there even a single diabetes med that does NOT mention 'if diet and exercise doesn't work,,,,,,,,,'
Why does everything need to be a conspiracy?
Anyone up for this borderline 'concentration camp diet'?
'Food reintroduction program' sounds like fun.
Be sure to keep the TV turned off so those damned Applebee's ads
aren't in your dieting face.

Those in the Counterweight Plus program were given a diet that was very low in calories – for anywhere from three to five months, they ate around 850 calories a day. This was followed by a food reintroduction program that ran from two to eight weeks.
