$BRK.A - Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.A, BRK. names William Fehrman as the new chief executive of its energy business, a day after promoting energy boss Greg Abel and Ajit Jain, head of its reinsurance operations, to new jobs managing the company’s wide-ranging subsidiaries.
Fehrman previously was CEO of MidAmerican Energy, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway Energy; Adam Wright was promoted to that position.
Berkshire's energy arm is one of the largest U.S. utilities by net income and serves customers in 18 states, the U.K. and Canada; the company also owns natural gas pipelines and invests heavily in renewable energy in the U.S. midwest and west.
