Well, I don't believe ONCI could buy TomTom.
I don't see any possibility that TomTom would discuss a merger nor a JV., unless our CEO asked for an arm and a leg. Problems would be too great in the event of a disagreement down the road. How could an equitable distribution of sales and revenues be devised on new sales? For Fleet Management agreements, TomTom charges (or provides for free) the hardware and bills monthly service fees.
TomTom would love to have our patents as they are engaged with some automobile manufacturers working on autonomous vehicles.
