FDA blog post about their new drug approvals. It certainly looks like they are trying to get ahead of criticisms of the lengthy waits for approval that they've had in the past. This is good for IPIX, not to mention for those of us or our friends/family who might need these drugs. If they're concerned about overcoming criticisms of their past mistakes, they may move our drugs through the pipeline faster.
