Somebody please show me someone actually transacting business on the "blockchain" ...You cannot do it as it does not exist. I know of 5 cases outside of the top 20 cryptos which have been Proof of Work Consenses for past 5 years. It takes years to establish the security/trust of 100k to 1 million miners to back a Coin. Proof of Stake will soon replace Proof Of Work. This is when things get interesting. Ya'll late to the race I suggest you start doing your DD. Ethereum soon going to Proof of Stake. Revolutionary Tech...no more mining using massive Electricity....Now with Proof of Stake, you and I can put our Coins up for "Stake" and we receive an annual dividend for "Staking" our Coins. Those "staked" coins proof the ledger, not Miners..
