Red, a few other CNS (and non CNS) drugs have these type of side effects. Not necessarily par for the course, several cases. I believe Paxil had a side effect of increased risk of suicidal ideations. Scary when that is a drug to treat depression.i
Gocovri’s side effects are comparable to all previous forms of Amantadine, so it got approval in regards to safety based on the fact that Amantadine had been approved in the past.
