The company didn't have any idea of the results until the trials were finished. I'd expect that they would have communicated with the CDA-signers when they had the information somewhat analyzed -- but that hasn't been very long.
I agree, the company has been staying in touch with them, but all those big pharmas are bureaucracies. When you work in a smaller setting, it's surprising how complicated it is for a big company to get stuff cleared with the higher-ups and every committee etc. that has to sign off on it. That's why I'm saying that it might be longer than people would expect before they can strike an agreement, and then even longer to report it.
The basher tactic is to set false deadlines and then criticize the company for not meeting a deadline that the company never set. Just want to make sure no one is suckered in by the liars.
