Just kicking something around and wanted to see if anyone has any thoughts on.As far as the short shares.

Any shares that we're sold short were bought and now owned by some of us. The company will have to file a new registration statement before the transfer of shares to the Delaware company. When the transfer is made our old shares will be cancelled/traded for the new ones. These will include any shares we purchased that were part of a short sale.

How can our various brokers swap the shares without first actually having the old ones to do it. Or if a broker loaned shares that we're borrowed to short. They would have to get them back before they could swap for new ones.

While if it was market makers naked shorting or a (call it friendly mm) naked shorting for the toxic lenders we still purchased and own those phantom shares now.

Would our brokers actually have to have the shares to make the switch. Or would any short positions simply end up in the Delaware company to be covered at some point in time.
