Regarding the L2 if NITE has an ask for 100@ .77 and an ask for 10,000@ .78 you will only see the 100@ .77, Just the way the L2 works. So by saying you see al the shares available between here and 1.20 is not correct.
As far as the big trade of 69k it was probably a low ball bid (or bids) that gave the MMs the ability to short collect shares at the higher Price (where there were some) make money shorting it to the .70 price and then buy on the way back up. It is how the MMs make money, they have to eat too. I am not saying everything they do is ok but they are keeping the market moving. Maybe if everyone stops putting in stink bids there wouldn't b e a target down there!
