Right you are. The revenue from the MJ business will be even more important now that "tax reform" has been passed. A huge chunk of tax revenue will be missing from the 2018 haul due to huge tax breaks to corporations and wealthy individuals.

California is the 8th largest economy in the world, but not so long ago was teetering on bankruptcy and considering splitting in two. I wouldn't think it would benefit the national economy for congress to wait much longer to reschedule MJ. It would end this ridiculously disruptive game of peek-a-boo.

I wouldn't rule out that some sneaks in D.C. may be playing the chicken little card one last time just to buy into the heavy discounts. Not the first time in history that's been done, and the Russians did it just a short time ago in the energy sector. But we wouldn't do anything the Ruskies did, would we?!! lol
