Ihub totally protects it....I have been removed from mod spots and have been suspended in the past for mild defense against bashers...it is, however more important to hold back so that situations don't arise where the board is in bad hands. I was on boards/in stocks when all 6 mods were longs, and what a difference it makes!
I am already on warning through admisns, who removed a MYDX post of mine that started with

Also they removed the following:

Not only could I be forced of boards BUT due to these two removals alone, I would not have applications for other mod spots granted for 1-2 months.
