I had a bid in at the ask at the close, and I did NOT get filled.
This should tell people something, when they think the market makers act honestly and don't do things like withholding bids. I know others who have had similar experiences.
You look at the so-called Level 2, and it looks like there is plenty of supply. But when you try to actually buy it, boom !, suddenly the "ask" disappears and there is no supply to be had. They are showing those huge purported asks simply to scare individual investors.
