Re: weaver_525 #3375
Actually weaver I think he is ambivalent about stepping aside. I think he believes that if he steps aside and is replaced by a message board posting management team, the threats to him, his wife and son will stop. The insane rumors and lies will stop. And the best part about that .... the stockholders will get exactly what they want, a 24/7 attention to share price. They won't get anything else, but I would venture that they won't care.
do these people really care about the magnitude of the victory over J&J will do for the company and its brand? Shareholders for the most part only care that the J&J verdict or settlement will raise the share price. And that is really sad. Such a waste.
What I find so troubling about all of this is that you and zeynoc are both foreign nationals and I would bet that neither of you have run a public American company before. Yet both of you make demands of Mr. Berman, who has run public companies, that you cannot back up with experience or a knowledge base. So understand that if you have these strong opinions, then step up and get some skin in the game. Take over the company and run it. Owning stock entitles you to your opinions ---- only. The weight of your opinions is exactly equal to the number of shares you own. Mr. Berman or the company BOD are under no obligation to accept anyones uninformed opinions as fact or as right.
My opinions do not matter either, or at least they matter only as far as my share ownership takes me, and I HAVE run American public companies.
