Most hacks originate from bad passwords or disgruntled employees. We don't store passwords in a format that is readable by anyone at the company. If a customer looses or forgets their password, only they can change it with their email or phone, our internal people can't view or change it. If someone were able to copy the customer database, they wouldn't have access to the passwords in a usable format.
