I know too well how governmental agencies work. After I retired from corporate life and moved, I was contacted by a county administration and asked to come in a take over a $1B renovation project. It took me 6 months to realize what a cluster I had gotten myself into. I went to the CEO and told him they needed to find someone else. I told him I would stay until they could replace me. A year after that, I finally went in and told him that I was leaving in 30 days. You can't get anything accomplished if the government is involved. I always said that I finally found out where all those short bus kids went to work!!
