Hey Poem, you wannabe theocrat, people are free in this country to say whatever they wish or refrain from saying whatever they don't want to say. You don't LIKE that or this deserved response? Tough shit!
My family and most of my friends exchange Christmas greetings. Even our Jewish friends choose to greet us that way and we respect their Hanukkah.
Here's the heart of the matter. My family and our friends are secure enough in our beliefs to not take offense at those who believe different. Neither do we need to rely on public displays of Merry Christmas to feel better about ourselves or to enjoy the Holidays.
You probably need to knock back some hot Christmas Glug to take the edge off that you seem to be burdened with for much of the year .
