It is nice to see UF promoting gift cards this year. These are pretty cool cards with a nice big logo on the front. Fuja was kind enough to give me a few of these back in late 2016, two of which I gave to unsuspecting new 4K tv buyers at a local Best Buy, if I recall correctly. Anyway, neither had heard of UltraFlix (no surprise) but both were happy to get the cards and hopefully added the UF app to their sets.
It would be great if we (NTEK) could issue cards automatically to new 4K tv purchasers. People love 'free' and the gift card idea is perfect. Way better than just a print out on a receipt. The card looks great and is easy to keep in your wallet whereas a receipt with a discount code could easily be overlooked, lost or tossed.
Seems to me that from a timing standpoint NTEK may be about to release more content. We know they've been busy remastering the old stuff but we've also seen glimpses of other studio's content that is being worked on, lots of it actually, to include my all time favorite Breaking Bad. None of that has been published yet and I'm thinking we're nearing the day when that switch is flipped and suddenly we have a ton of content. 4K sets are flying off the shelves this holiday season. What better time would there be than now to unleash the power of a content laden, fully operational UltraFlix 3.0?
Those gift cards would make a perfect stocking stuffer too!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all the NTEK faithful. Lets help NTEK make 2018 the year of UltraFlix!
