I was a at will employee for a long time. Didn't always get a increase. When just a regular employee it ran about 1-2% per year.
Though being upper middle income I got nailed with taxes. Never got discounts for anything, no free handouts and raised 4 kids.
Been perplexed for years why we have federal income taxes with all the other taxes and surcharge taxes.
Must be the 18% cream for elites ...
