During his visit in Greece, EU Neighborhood and Enlargement Commissioner Johannes Hahn has also affected the issue of EU membership negotiations in the Balkan countries.
Hahn expressed determination to open negotiations as soon as possible with Albania and Macedonia.
He said that "the EU does not accept a state that has problems with its neighbors. This is a lesson from the past and we do not want this. Serbia needs to solve the problems with Kosovo, "Hahn said.
"The European Union has little influence in the Balkan countries before the opening of the negotiations. But we will have a lot of influence during the negotiations. So I am so determined to open negotiations as soon as possible with Albania and Macedonia, "Hahn said.
