Great synopsis.
After reading the entirety of what happened, I'm more convinced than ever that this was an elaborate scam.
I'm not sure if the noteholders orchestrated it with what amounted to a fake shell company, were complicit with a hidden third party "Adam Carter", or if they simply took advantage of an obviously bad situation.
COR is still ridiculous, and contributed to the overall mess.
In the end, the noteholders and shareholders are the ones fucked. Everyone else made out pretty much intact or in the positive.
