That's exactly my point. The placebo group SHOULD have had a rate of about 75% or more, so that the Brilacidin rinse reduced the incidence of OM by 50%.
Instead, in the IPIX study, the placebo group had an unusually low incidence of OM. This made it appear as though the Brilacidin rinse was less effective in reducing the incidence of severe OM than it actually was, had the placebo group had the same results as EVERY OTHER STUDY did.
