My understanding is that R&G can't even file their appeal until the judge's ruling is finalized and updated in the court system. Once that happens the appeal will immediately be filed, and the clock starts ticking on the appeal process.

I'm hoping that the delay in finalizing the judge's ruling is attributed to behind the scenes communications regarding the perceived judge's error in not recusing oneself from the case based on possible/perceived COI (conflict of interest). I would love to see the ruling reversed, as opposed to going the appeals route, although winning the appeals would be great for SFOR! It would be further strong validation of SFOR's patents, and further establishing strong precedent inf favor of SFOR. All IMHO!
