After thinking about this a little more, I wonder if it makes sense for SFOR to file and objection/motion for reconsideration with the district court, pointing out the errors in its decision and giving the court an opportunity to correct itself (i.e. exhausting all their options before filing an appeal to the ninth Circuit). Then if that does not work, file an appeal. Just imo.
