How about cell phones. How many patents surround that. The technology has been around for over 100 years.

The other thing R&G needs to prove about the district judge is that decissions like his actually impeed the evolutionary progress in developing better technology, as SFOR has. The message is being sent that even if the USPTO issues a patent, then reviews it 2X's (with validity) and a district court invalidates it, inventors will be discouraged from advancing technology. This is also a huge issue.
I'm hoping for the Supreme court.
