Good find on your part. Surprising. I called NanoLogix and asked about the paper. NanoLogix apparently supplied Middlebrook 7H11 BNP agar membrane kits to a similar Gates TB study and not the Middlebrook 7H10 simple petri plates. No one knew when the results of that study will be released. Interesting that Middlebrook 7H10 has apparently been superseded by Middlebrook 7H11. I wonder how long ago the research in the paper was done before results were published last month and whether the use of the NanoLogix BNP kits has been concurrent or following those recently published results with the obsolete agar.
